Minister of Industry and Commerce meet with US Deputy Secretary of State in Kabul

H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce met with US Deputy Secretary of State Mr. McCray in his office to discuss various issues.

During this meeting, Mr. Ghoryani appreciated the long-term assistance of the USA and called for the continuation of this assistance in various sectors and spoke on the new programs of MoIC, including industry growth, trade growth, Afghanistan's self-sufficiency, new trade-transit routes, and the expansion of Afghanistan's trade cooperation with the United States.

Mr. McCray, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in Kabul said, his country stands with the Afghanistan government as well as the people and continues to provide assistance in various areas.

During the meeting, Mr. McCray supported the new plans of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and promised any kind of cooperation for the implementation of these plans.
