A Technical Meeting was held to Review the Afghanistan-Pakistan Trade-Transit Problems

Joint Technical Meeting on Afghanistan-Pakistan Trade-Transit Problems was held at the Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan with the participate of Respected Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce and Mr. Abdul Razzaq Dawood Minister of Commerce and Senior Trade Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, discussed trade-transit problems between the two the countries.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Khanjan AlKozay Vice President of the Afghanistan Chambers Federation, Mr. Mohammad Yonus Momand Deputy of Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment and other representatives of the private sector as members of the technical team of traders.
Respected Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, emphasizing on the solution of all Afghanistan's trade-transit problems with Pakistan, he said, 21 problems faced by Afghan traders in Pakistan were discussed, most of which have been resolved. Besides, the Afghan traders whose property had been in trouble in Pakistan ports for the past 6 months, had been set on and the process of transferring it to Afghanistan would begin in the coming weeks. Mr. Ghoryani added.
At the end of this meeting, the two sides described the future of trade and transit between the two countries as promising (Building a Prosperous Future) and decided to have close and eternal cooperation in various fields of work and solving Afghanistan-Pakistan trade-transit problems.
