Warm welcome of the Minister of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan from the Government - Private Sector Delegations of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Islamabad

Government - Private Sector delegations of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan under the chairmanship of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce to attend the 8th round meeting of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit and Trade Agreement Coordination Committee (APTTCA) arrived in Islamabad, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and was warmly welcomed by Mr. Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Minister of Commerce and Senior Economic and Investment Advisor.
H.E Ghoryani will be accompanied by a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the Office of the Special Representative of the President for Pakistan, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, the General Directorate of Customs of the Ministry of Finance, the Governor of Afghanistan Bank and the private sector.
The 8th round meeting of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Transit and Trade Agreement Coordination Committee, tomorrow with a speech delivery by H.E Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce and hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and Senior Economic and Investment Advisory to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to discuss the APTTCA agreement, expand cooperation Trade-transit and customs talks and solving the problems of traders between the two countries will be held in Islamabad city.
The 7th round meeting of the APTTCA was held in Kabul on November 17, 2020 hosted by the Afghanistan Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
At the 7th meeting of the APTTCA, the agreement discussed transit-trade, banking and customs cooperation between the two countries and resolving the problems of Afghan traders in Pakistan.
Besides, at the 7th round meeting of the APTTCA in Kabul, a MoU on Afghanistan-Pakistan Customs Information Exchange was signed between Mr. Khalil Salehzadah, DG of Customs of the Ministry of Finance of Afghanistan and Mr. Sayed Mohammad Hoda, Member of the Customs Board of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
