The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Meets With the Ambassador of Russian Federation in Kabul

The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, met with the Russian Federation’s Ambassador to Afghanistan, Mr. Dmitry Zhirnov, today afternoon.
During the meeting, both parties discussed strengthening and expanding economic and trade relations between the two countries. Topics included establishing a joint working group, trade and economic cooperation, creating an Afghan-Russian trade forum, Afghanistan’s readiness to participate in the North-South international transit corridor, implementing projects based on mutual interests, and investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mining, agriculture, energy, water, and industrial sectors. Constructive interaction and the continued expansion of economic relations were also discussed.
