The Government-Private Sector of Afghanistan Meets with the Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine

 H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani Minister of Industry and Commerce, who is on a visit to the Republic of Ukraine, as the head of the Afghanistan Government-Private Sector Delegation, met with Mr. Petraschko Ihor, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine and discussed the expansion of economic, trade and agricultural cooperation.
 Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani said, the purpose of this visit to the Republic of Ukraine; is to participate in the 2nd meeting of the Afghanistan-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission and discuss the expansion of economic, trade and agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
 Mr. Ghoryani, in addition to calling for increased trade between the two countries said, there are many opportunities for investment in Afghanistan in various sectors, and Ukrainian investors are highly appreciated to invest in various sectors.
 The Minister of Industry and Commerce added, we are very pleased that this time the protocol includes the issue of regional integration and the development of trade and transit, besides, Ukraine has shown interest in finding ways to connect to the Lapis Lazuli rout.
 During the meeting, Mr. Petraschko Ihor, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of the Republic of Ukraine, while welcoming the visit of the Afghanistan government-private sector delegation to his country, said, the Ukrainian government also wants to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
 Mr. Ihor added, the holding of the 1st and 2nd meetings of the Ukraine-Afghanistan Intergovernmental Commission, is the beginning of bilateral cooperation to expand economic, agricultural, industrial and trade-transit cooperation between the two countries.
 Concluding, both sides discussed the implementation of the protocol of the 2nd meeting of the Afghanistan-Ukraine Intergovernmental Commission, which is signed between the heads of delegations of the two countries; Moreover, they emphasized and positively assessed the future of economic-trade relations between these countries.
