Investment Increment in Afghan Rice Production Plant

The Afghan Rice Plant, located in the Sheikh Misri Industrial Park in Nangarhar Province, has increased its investment in production, processing, packaging, and machinery.
The plant started with an initial investment of $ 600,000 in rice production, processing, and packaging, and has now increased its investment to $ 4 million.
Processes and packs 120 tons of rice in 24 hrs. and has provided jobs for more than 700 people.
The officials of this plant say that the processed rice has been contracted with the security and defense organizations and it will also be offered to the markets.
