Inspecting the market situation in Bamyan and Paktika provinces

The Commission for the Prevention of the Production, Import and Supply of Low-Quality, Expired and Counterfeit Goods in Bamyan and Paktika Provinces conducted surveys in the markets to control prices and identify substandard and expired foodstuff.
During the commission's visit they collected some substandard and outdated foodstuff from the markets of these provinces.
The commission was set up under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce with ten government and private sector agencies in the capital and provinces in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. The commission conducts regular reviews of market conditions to control food prices and other low-quality and outdated materials in the center and other provinces.
