Meeting of the Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan with the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan

Respected Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, who headed a high-level delegation from the private and public sectors to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with the Mr. Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan.

The meeting focused on the expansion of trade and transit cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as the effects of peace on improving the trade situation.

Respected Mr. Ghoryani, Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce of Afghanistan, in this meeting called for more cooperation of Pakistan Government to solve the problems of Afghan businessmen to develop and improve trade and transit between the two countries.

Mr. Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, also reminded of the friendly relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan in the past years and stressed that a new chapter of trade and political relations between the two countries has begun.

Najibullah Naser, Head of the Health, Sports and Youth Affairs Committee of the Afghanistan Parliament, was also present at the meeting.

Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, who traveled to Islamabad to attend the Pakistan-Afghanistan Trade and Investment Forum 2020, also met with some high-ranking officials of the Pakistani government.
