Afghanistan and Iran to Enhance Trade and Economic Ties

The Acting Minister of Industry and Commerce, honorable Mr. Alhaj Nooruddin Azizi, meets with Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran to Afghanistan honorable Mr. Alireza Bigdeli.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding signing a roadmap, building trust for investment in Afghanistan, cutting transit costs, connecting Chabahar to the railway, customs tariffs, and banking, which aimed at increasing trade and enhancing economic and trade ties between the two countries.
Further in the meeting, both parties discussed their plans, stressing on lifting barriers to enhance trade between the two countries. They also agreed on holding further meetings in this regard.
