The interim leadership of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production commitment to institutionalize the activities of that chamber

The Interim Board of the Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production have met with honored Mr. Abdul Karim Malikyar Acting Deputy Minister for Industry and Commerce, to discuss issues related to the Chamber and the situation of the agricultural and livestock sectors.
a year after the establishment of the chamber, members of the interim board of directors have called for more cooperation and support from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to standardize chamber activities, start attracting and recruiting members, and asked for cooperation in holding elections to elect the board of directors of the mentioned chamber.
Following, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce stated; the role of agriculture and livestock sectors in the Afghanistan economy is undeniable, and these sectors can play the vital role in increasing the country's export volume.
He added, the establishment of the Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production is one of the great achievements of the activists of these sectors, and the interim board of directors should try to provide the opportunity for selecting the board of directors of the alleged chamber as soon as possible.
In conclusion, the members of the Interim Board of Directors, while appreciating the continued cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, assured to quicken the institutionalization of the Chamber's actions and to see vital changes in the organization's structure, activities and accomplishments over the next few months.
It is worth mentioning, based on the recent elections between the members of the temporary board of directors of that chamber, that recently took place, Mr. Khan Mohammad Frotan secured the highest votes and was elected as the of chairman of the board of directors of the Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Production.
