Holding a meeting to review the increase in oxygen production

Meeting on increasing oxygen production plants in Kabul industrial parks chaired by Mr. Sayed Mohsen Sadat, Director General of Industrial Parks and Industries of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, with representatives of the Chamber of Industries and Mines, Oxygen Production Plants in Kabul and USAID Office in Afghanistan was held.
Mr. Sayed Mohsen Sadat said, the MoIC and the (USAID) in Afghanistan are ready to do any kind of cooperate to increase oxygen production.
Mr. Sadat added that in the current situation where the country's people are in dire need of oxygen, the level of oxygen production should be increased and oxygen hoarding should be prevented.
In this meeting, the problems and challenges faced by oxygen production plants, increasing their production, meeting the needs of oxygen applicants, and the cooperation of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and international organizations helping to solve the problems of the oxygen production sector were discussed.
Moreover, the representatives of oxygen production plants also promised to increase their production level and cooperate with the MoIC leadership in preventing hoarding and overselling of oxygen.
Recently, Mr. Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, MoIC Minister, in a meeting with the officials of oxygen production plants, asked them to increase the level of their production to meet the needs of COVID-19 patients.
There are currently eight oxygen plants, operating in Kabul's industrial parks, which meet most of the needs of COVID-19 hospitals and oxygen applicants.
