Chambers Affairs Law Amendment

KABUL- A Joint working meeting of the proposed amendment to the Law on Regulation of Chambers Affairs under the chairmanship of H.E Nisar Ahmad Ghoryani, Minister of Industry and Commerce with the participate of representatives from the Ministry of Justice, Afghanistan Chambers Federation, Chamber of Trade and Investment, Chamber of Industry and Mines, Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock , Afghanistan Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber of Craftsmen and Shopkeepers and International Chamber of Commerce was held at the conference hall of this Ministry.

Greeting the proposal to amend the mentioned law, Mr. Ghoryani said, based on the applicable laws of the country and proposed law from the private sector; the joint work has begun on amending the law.

Mr. Ghoryani added, the MoIC has a coordinating role in law amendment for regulating the chambers affairs and is cooperating with the Ministry of Justice and the private sector.

Mutual work is happening between the MoIC, MoJ and the chambers representatives to draft a law for regulating the chambers affairs.
